The British Army has successfully tested a groundbreaking weapon designed to disable drones.

Since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, both sides have relied on drones for precise, long-range attacks that require only a single operator.

Drone-led offensives are likely to become increasingly common in the future. However Thales, a French company specializing in aerospace, defense, and security has developed a weapon that can destroy drones without wasting ammunition.

The RapidDestroyer uses powerful radio waves to target the vital components of drones. In addition to its effectiveness and precision, the weapon is extremely cost-efficient, with each "shot" costing just 13 cents.

This makes the RapidDestroyer an inexpensive solution compared to attack drones, which can cost thousands of dollars each to manufacture.

The British Ministry of Defence reports that the weapon can destroy a target from a distance of up to one kilometer.
