North Korean soldiers captured by Ukrainian army
For the first time, Ukrainian forces have captured two North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region. The special operations forces and air assault forces have released images of their capture.
“Operators of Battle Group No. 84 of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces captured a North Korean soldier during special actions in the Kursk region of Russia,” the report said.
After being evacuated from the battlefield, Ukrainian special forces provided first aid to the North Korean prisoner.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces Air Assault Forces released a video of the capture of the second North Korean soldier.
“He was captured during his first combat mission, specifically during the assault on the positions of the Polissia brigade of the air assault forces,” the paratroopers said.
The captured soldier was armed with Russian-made equipment and weapons.
