Russians denounce “barbaric Ukrainian attack” on hospital
On Monday, the Russian authorities accused Ukrainian armed forces of targeting a hospital in the Olechki district of Russian-occupied Kherson.
According to the Russian authorities, one doctor was killed in the attack and another seriously injured. Vladimir Saldo, head of the Russian occupation in the Kherson region, denounced the “barbaric attack” and said it was already “the second time an attempt had been made on the life of the chief doctor”.
Since the start of the conflict in February 2022, Russia occupied part of the Kherson region. As reported by 20 Minutes, the Dnieper River serves as a demarcation line between the positions of the two sides. Attacks are frequent on both sides, although most of the fighting takes place in the Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions, further east.
