Tesla: Cybertruck sales are declining
Cybertruck sales have recently slowed, with Tesla's latest models taking longer to sell.
The Cybertruck was the best-selling electric vehicle in the second quarter of the year and the third most-sold EV in the United States during the third quarter.
However, the sales pace for the pickup has drastically declined, with workers involved in its production reportedly being told to stay home for several days. According to Reuters, the average time to sell a Cybertruck has increased from 27 days in May to 75 days in December.
Priced at over 100,000 dollars Tesla's latest model has seen waning enthusiasm in recent months.
Since its launch, the Cybertruck has faced multiple issues, including a major design flaw with the brake pedal, which locks up when pressed by the driver.
