Will Air Belgium go bankrupt?
The Nivelles corporate court gives airline Air Belgium another two weeks to resolve its ongoing financial problems.
Niky Terzakis' company did not find a new investor and has been protected from its creditors for almost a full year. The Walloon government would also no longer want to help. Air Belgium reportedly needs at least 18 million euros in the short term. Without fresh capital or further protection against creditors, bankruptcy seems inevitable.
