“Some 1,100 North Korean soldiers killed or wounded in fighting against Ukraine” (South Korea)
According to the South Korean military, the number of North Korean war casualties in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is rising quickly.
Some 1,100 North Korean soldiers are said to have already been killed or wounded in fighting on Russia's side against Ukrainian troops. The Joint Chiefs of Staff said so Monday in a communique. But that does not discourage North Korean authorities because, according to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff, North Korea is reportedly already preparing to send new manpower to Russia to reinforce or relieve troops already fighting there. Furthermore, according to its neighbors to the south, North Korea is also said to be already producing self-destructing drones and in the meantime is already supplying 240mm rocket launchers and 170mm self-propelled guns to the Russians.
