Trump envoy condemns attack on Russian general
Keith Kellogg, who was appointed by US President-elect Donald Trump to mediate a resolution to the war in Ukraine, has called the targeted attack in Moscow "reckless".
On Tuesday, Ukraine killed the head of the Russian Armed Forces' radiation, chemical and biological defense troops, Igor Kirillov, and one of his aides in a targeted attack in Moscow
Keith Kellogg: "There are rules of war and certain things you shouldn't do," he said, calling the Ukrainian attack in the Russian capital a few days ago "a little too far," although he hopes it won't be a "setback" for any negotiations in the near future.
"I don't think it's very smart to do it, if you're a general and you're on the battlefield, you're in front, you're a legitimate target, but this is going a little bit too far and hiring a mercenary to do it isn't a good idea at all," he said in an interview with Fox Business.
