Ukrainians inflict heavy losses on North Korean troops, Kiev says
The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Oleksandr Syrsky, stated that for several days now, the Russian armed forces have been conducting an “intense” counteroffensive in the Kursk region, with the support of North Korean soldiers.
Oleksandr Syrsky stressed, however, that his armed forces were “firmly holding” the front lines, “destroying enemy personnel and equipment” and inflicting, among other things, “heavy losses” on North Korean troops.
According to data from the British magazine The Economist, Zelensky’s soldiers have already lost half of the territories they controlled in this region since the start of their surprise offensive last August.
