Entire towns ravaged: state of emergency declared in California
Violent wildfires are currently soaring in northwest Los Angeles (California, USA).
Nearly 8,000 hectares of land have been hit hard, and more than 10,000 people have been evacuated. South of the City of Angels, around Fallbrook, the “fire line” is threatening homes, reports France Info. This Saturday, November 9, firefighters succeeded in containing the fire in this area.
The “Mountain Fire”, another blaze, has completely ravaged the town of Camarillo, located further north in California. Entire neighborhoods there now resemble a field of ruins. More than 130 homes have been reduced to ashes. Since November 6, Wednesday, 9,000 hectares of vegetation have been devastated by the flames, despite the intervention of firefighters.
