Passenger buys ticket before his flight and wins... 6.5 million euros
A man who quickly bought a lottery ticket at Charleroi airport, in Belgium, just before his flight unexpectedly won the €6,5 million jackpot ($6,85 million).
Having no time to enter his usual lucky numbers, he opted for a Quick Pick, where the system randomly chooses the numbers. During his return trip, he discovered he had the winning numbers.
The anonymous winner, who plays weekly, is considering, among other things, building a house and buying a new car with his newly acquired fortune.
