Scientists have evidence aliens can live on Mars
Scientists have discovered that living conditions on Mars could be suitable for extraterrestrial life, though they emphasize the need for underground excavations to explore further.
However, numerous missions would be required to fully understand the characteristics of the Red Planet.
Scientists at the University of Barcelona, led by Andrea Butturini, wrote of the discovery: "It is a promising target area for future missions in the search for extant life in Mars' subsurface".
NASA recently released images of Mars' surface showing structures resembling spiderwebs.
Researchers from a Spanish university used data collected by orbiters around Mars to identify regions rich in thorium, an element that could provide the energy needed to sustain life.
