British Intelligence active in Ukraine with special operations
The head of Britain's secret intelligence service, known as MI6, Sir Richard Moore, has confirmed his involvement in the war in Ukraine with paramilitary operations.
“In 1945, after the war, SOE became part of British intelligence, and we're proud to protect our heritage of covert action, which we continue today by helping Ukraine resist the Russian invasion.”
This is the first official confirmation of the presence of British intelligence agents in the Ukrainian conflict. This is an explicit reference to the Special Operations Executive (SOE), the elite unit historically associated with paramilitary activities.
With these statements, the boss of MI6 is seeking a response not only from Russia, but above all from other NATO allies who are also collaborating with Zelensky's army, either by training troops in their countries, supplying defense equipment or providing intelligence on the ground.
