Watch out Putin, there are now 7 to strengthen their defense
At a summit in Sweden on Wednesday, Poland, the Baltic states and the Nordic countries warned Russia and all states supporting the invasion of Ukraine that sanctions could be stepped up.
The 7 signatory countries - Poland, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Latvia and Estonia - declare: “Together with our allies, we're determined to strengthen our deterrence and defense [...] against conventional and hybrid attacks, and to reinforce sanctions against Russia and those who promote Russian aggression, thereby threatening our common security”.
As Lithuania's government is in the process of being formed, the country didn't take part in the summit.
