Fighters from Laos and Myanmar: Is Putin strengthening his ranks?

In November, Russia suffered significant human and material losses. In fact, Vladimir Putin's forces, it was one of the deadliest months on record.

While Russian forces rely on their numerical and military superiority to seize Ukrainian strongholds, their repeated assaults come at a high cost. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Moscow lost some 45,729 soldiers in November alone.

3 billion in losses

The losses aren't limited to personnel. Material losses for November are estimated at nearly $3 billion, exceeding the combined total for the previous two months.

Additional forces

Despite these setbacks, Moscow continues to enjoy military support from North Korea, which has already provided 12,000 troops to fight alongside Russian forces. What's for more, according to war bloggers, Vladimir Putin has recruited fighters from Laos and Myanmar (formerly Burma) to bolster his ranks.
