Only US flags to be displayed at embassies and consulates
Only US flags will be allowed to be hung at all US embassies and consulates around the world from now on.
President Donald Trump is ending the diversity policy of his predecessor, Joe Biden. On Wednesday, the department that oversees diversity policies within US government agencies was immediately shut down.
In government agencies, both at home and abroad, only the US flat will be displayed from now on, according to a memo seen by the British newspaper The Guardian. Under President Biden, government institutions often also displayed gay pride and Black Lives Matter flags.
