Sled dogs bite boy (7) to death: animals got euthanized
All five sled dogs that bit a seven-year-old boy to death Thursday in the Hainaut town of Quévy (French-speaking Belgium) have since been euthanized.
The five dogs of the 'Alaskan malamute' breed attacked little Aodren at his mother's family breeding facility Thursday afternoon. The 7-year-old boy was feeding the animals in their cage, when they turned against him. His mom intervened immediately, but she could not prevent the very worst. The little boy succumbed to his injuries.
The five dogs involved were euthanized. “The family has given its agreement for that,” said David Voland, the MR mayor of Quévy, about these tragic events.
