Russia has threatened to resort to “even more stronger military means” in its war against Ukraine if the United States and Europe do not reduce their military support for Kyiv.

As the conflict approaches its third year, geopolitical tensions are at an all-time high, according to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov in an interview with CNN.

The Russian diplomat stated that there is no "magic solution" to the conflict and accused the West of lacking "common sense."

Earlier this week, the Biden administration announced $725 million in new military aid to Ukraine, aimed at putting Kyiv in the strongest position ahead of potential peace negotiations.

Sergei Ryabkov warned that the risk of escalation should not be underestimated and largely depends on decisions made in Washington.

"There will come a moment when we will see no other choice but to resort to even stronger military means," the minister said.
