WWCOTY 2025 finalists announced
The WWCOTY jury has chosen its finalists. The winner of each category will participate in the final election to become the WWCOTY car 2025. The jury is composed exclusively of women journalists.
The Women's Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY) has announced the winners of the 8 categories for 2025. The criteria chosen are excellence in terms of safety, driving, technology, comfort, efficiency, environmental impact, value for money and gender equality. It is from this list that the grand prize winner will be announced on March 6, 2025 at midnight, New Zealand time. Initially, 81 models were among the candidates with the only requirements being to have been launched on at least two continents or 40 countries between January and December 2024. This trophy is awarded for the 15th time, by 82 female automotive journalists from 55 countries on five continents.

Compact SUV: Kia EV3
Large car (large car): Audi A6 e-tron
Large SUV: Hyundai Santa Fe
4x4 & Pick-up: Toyota Land Cruiser
Performance & Luxury Car: Porsche Panamera
Best Tech Award (best technology): BYD for its lithium-ferrophosphate “Blade” battery
Sandy Myhre Award (brand most committed to women): Volvo
