In France, a little-known trick lets you travel for free by train

Looking for new horizons? In France or even further afield? There's a legal and relatively unknown trick that will enable you to travel without spending a cent on your journey.

The technique in question has been made possible by the Kidygo website, which enables travel enthusiasts to have train, plane or bus tickets paid for by parents looking for companions for their children.

As Demotivateur reports, the Kidygo platform puts travelers with limited means in touch with families in need of babysitting services, whether they're traveling to France or Europe. On the site, the vast majority of advertisements concern train journeys within France, between Paris and provincial towns.

Kidygo, which came into being in 2014, provides a service to a good number of students and divorced parents. However, the platform remains little-known...

In half the cases, families offer travelers a fully refunded ticket. For the other half, the reimbursed portion of the trip will depend on the date of travel and when the parents make the reservation, explains Demotivateur
