A fabulously beautiful actress...and still so many complexes... Surely created by what can be called today “the tyranny of appearance”. Indeed, Margot Robbie thought she looked awful when she started her career.

How can a woman like Margot Robbie be so hard on herself?

An insecure gait, imposing glasses and overly conspicuous braces: these were the things that disrupted the actress' image during her teenage years, when she considered herself to be “the ugliest of her group of girlfriends”. Once settled in Hollywood, the land of all possibilities, it was the rejections she faced, the failed auditions and the clearly sexist artistic directors, that confirmed this nagging idea and led her to believe that she really was “horrible”. 

Sad words for the heroine of the film “Barbie”, a satire of ultra-consumerism and a slap in the face to the patriarchy, which has continued to mesmerize and break records in 2023. Robbie's beauty had a lot to do with it... and her acting skills surpassed everything else. It will finally be up to the film “The Wolf of Wall Street” to reverse the trend and show her as she has never been seen before: beautiful, attractive and sexy.
