Influencer poisons baby for likes and donations
A shocking story reaches us from Queensland, Australia, as a 34-year-old influencer there has gone unseen far for online fame.
The Australian influencer managed to raise tens of thousands of dollars through her social media and a GoFundMe page with heartbreaking images. But she intentionally made her own little daughter sick to get the money.
The 34-year-old woman allegedly intentionally administered drugs to her one-year-old daughter to make the child sick while sharing her alleged fight against a terminal illness on social media. According to police, she administered drugs to her one-year-old daughter, causing the child to endure “enormous pains,” and meanwhile filmed her daughter's suffering to death.
After months of investigation, the 34-year-old woman has now been charged with torture, poisoning, child abuse and fraud.
“There are no words to describe how disgusting these crimes are,” Queensland Police Inspector Paul Dalton told reporters Thursday. The woman is due to appear in court in Brisbane on Friday.
