Mick Schumacher is de 18-jarige zoon van Michael en neef van Ralf Schumacher. De Duitse knaap heeft zijn stuurmanskunsten dus al zeker van geen vreemden. De zoon van Formule 1-icoon Michael Schumacher maakte deze week zijn debuut in de Formule 3.

Vorig seizoen won Mick verschillende races in de Formule 4, waardoor hij dit seizoen een reeks hoger aan de slag kan. Bij zijn debuut in deze Formule 3, werd hij meteen achtste op de eerste manche op het circuit van Silverstone.  "Ik ben heel tevreden met mijn debuut", zegt hij op Instagram.
